Consulting on child and pregnancy
We would like to inform you about the possibilities of compensating for the disadvantages of raising children and pregnancy.
Pregnancy
During studies, pregnancy is essentially subject to the legal regulations that apply in professional life (e.g. maternity leave, parental leave, …). The StuBS offers personal counselling to give an overview of the possibilities of compensating for disadvantages at the EUF (e.g. health problems, …) for female students who become pregnant during their studies. For the implementation of the compensation of disadvantages at the university, the EUF Family Service is the contact for pregnant students.
In BAföG students who have health problems during pregnancy have the possibility to compensate this disadvantage (support beyond the maximum period of support).
Detailed information for pregnant students can be obtained in a personal consultation. Introductory Information Information Sheet Pregnancy
Child education
The study programme addresses the special needs of students with children under 14 years of age (including priority registration for seminars, modification of services, etc.). The EUF Family Service is the contact person for the implementation of the compensation of disadvantages at the university.
BAföG provides various modalities for students who live in a household with children up to 10 years of age (e.g. childcare supplement, appropriate support beyond the maximum support limit, income allowances, …). Detailed information for students with child(ren) can be obtained in a personal consultation. Introductory Information Info Sheet Child
The consultations are subject to confidentiality and can be conducted anonymously.
The consultations are introductory information and do not replace legal advice from a lawyer. Use the open office hours for a personal consultation StuBS consulting offer.
