This includes, for example, negotiating important matters such as the semester ticket with public transport providers. It also works to ensure that students are not excluded from decision-making processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-tertiary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-462de5b8d789e9c9b19f2cfe2b179125\">How the student body is structured and operates is defined in the organizational statutes. This is divided into different areas:\n\t- AStA (Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss) - Elected by the student parliament (StuPa), it is responsible for the management and representation of student interests.\n\t- StuPa (Student Parliament) - The highest decision-making body of the student body, which forms political opinions, issues statutes and manages the budget.\n\t- Senate - A body in which students are also represented. It deals with examination regulations, module handbooks, the university budget and the election of the Presidential Board and the Chancellor.\n\t- FSV (Fachschaftsvertretung) &amp; FSK (Fachschaftskonferenz) - The FSV is elected by the students of a department and is responsible for subject-related issues.
