Department of Culture

The AStA Culture Department strengthens the communication between the cultural institutions within Flensburg and the university. In addition, the culture department is committed to the preservation as well as the further development of cultural offerings.

For example, cultural and dance events are planned in the department. In the interest of inclusive coexistence, many of these events are planned by students and cultural institutions and are aimed at students and those interested in culture.

Examples of past events/collaborations:

• AStA rotation (dance and cultural event) at the Kühlhaus
• „Flashlight Rally“ at the Phänomenta
• Cooperation with the festivities committee
• Assistance with the organization of master balls
