Convents

Europa-Universität Flensburg is organized into three faculties. Each faculty is led by a Faculty Council.

These councils are important decision-making bodies in which you, as a student, can also have a say.

The meetings of the Faculty Councils are open to the university community and take place regularly. As a student, you have the opportunity to attend the meetings, contribute your perspectives and concerns, and actively participate in shaping your faculty.

The Faculty Conventions decide on numerous aspects that affect your everyday student life, such as the design of degree programs, examination regulations and research initiatives. By actively participating, you can ensure that the interests of the student body are taken into account and that you have an influence on the development of your faculty.

How can you get involved?

• Attend the meetings: Find out about the next meeting dates for your faculty and take part. Your presence shows commitment and interest.
• Candidacy for the Convention: Consider whether you would like to stand as a student representative yourself. This will allow you to participate directly in decision-making processes.
• Exchange ideas with your representatives: Get in touch with the current student members of the Convention, share your concerns and support them in their work.
