Your student parliament (StuPa)

According to the organizational statutes, the Student Parliament (StuPa) is the central body for opinion-forming and decision-making within the student body.
In short: this is where the most important decisions for students are made.

The responsibilities of the Student Parliament include, among others:

  • electing and overseeing the AStA,
  • passing resolutions on amendments to the statutes and regulations of the student body,
  • deciding on major financial expenditures,
  • as well as adopting the annual budget of the student body.

In this way, the Student Parliament ensures that student self-governance operates transparently, democratically, and in the interests of all students.

There are up to 25 seats in the StuPa, each of which is filled by a member and, if applicable, a substitute member of the student body. The seats are allocated annually by election by the entire student body.

The minutes of the StuPa can either be viewed during opening hours in the AStA office
or can be requested directly from the StuPa by e-mail. For data protection reasons, uploading to the AStA website is currently not possible.
